The purpose of Corporate Consecration is to rally together with others with like-kindred faith, praying with and for one another as we intentionally seek the Lord’s plans and promises for our life.
Our time of Uncommon Fasting and Prayer is a time of consecration based on individual sacrifice that is also an intentional personal commitment.
You choose what you will give up from your normal practices and desires, replacing that time with prayer, meditation, worship and the Word of God.
Here are some suggestions for those who need assistance.
- Fasting from solid food – Liquids only
- Daniel fast – eliminate all intake of pleasing food eating fruits and fresh vegetables only
- Fasting from entertainment – eliminate Television, social media, casual outings, lengthy phone conversations.
Remember, in order for it to be a true sacrifice, it must make you uncomfortable. If we cant feel it, it’s probably not a sacrifice.
