Preparatory Questions and Scriptural Answers Concerning Holy Spirit’s Baptism

1. What is available for every believer? Acts 1:4-5

Answer; Salvation, Heaven and Power for Earthly Life

“And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.

2.Why do we need The Baptism of Holy Spirit Holy Spirit?

Answer: To live a life of Power and  demonstration

Acts 1:8 NKJV ” But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

3. Who receives the baptism of Holy Spirit?

Answer: Everyone who ask, believe and receives Him by faith

Matthew 7:7-11 NKJV “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”

4. How do we prepare to receive the promise of  Holy Spirit?

Answer: Through focused faith and intentional consecration

Faith

Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Romans 4:13-16 NKJV “For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all”

Consecration

Consecration act of making something sacred

Spiritual consecration is a combination of fasting and prayer, while maintaining a focus on spiritual results

Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Wisdom for Ending a Fast
USE WISDOM WHEN YOUR FAST HAS ENDED

When your fast has ended and you begin to eat normal again, use wisdom. Some people do really crazy things. During the fast, they save all the food they would have limitlessly eaten and destroy the spiritual health benefit derived from the fast.

Begin to eat slowly, not all at once and use this opportunity to develop better eating habits. Now that you have the flesh under control, this will be easier to do.
